📖 Ontario Rules of Civil Procedure - Rule 3.01

  • Rule 3.01(1)(a): Where a period of seven days or less is prescribed, holidays shall not be counted
  • Rule 3.01(1)(b): Where the last day for doing an act falls on a holiday, the act may be done on the next day that is not a holiday
  • "Holiday" includes Saturdays, Sundays, and statutory holidays
  • Time Computation: Exclude the first day, include the last day
